Electrical Assembly Technician
Location: Fareham
Job Type: Permanent Monday to Friday 7.00am - 04.30pm
Salary: Depending on Experience £28,000 - £40,000

Key Responsibilities:
- Assemble cable looms and route wiring into mechanical assemblies
- Build and install components into a variety of electrical assemblies
- Fit and terminate cables and connectors with precision
- Read and interpret technical documents, wiring diagrams, and assembly instructions
- Carry out mechanical integration and electrical testing as needed
- Ensure work meets internal quality standards and industry best practices
Requirements
Requirements:
- Proven experience in electrical assembly, ideally in a manufacturing or production setting
- Strong mechanical and electrical aptitude
- Ability to read and understand schematics, technical drawings, and documentation
- Proficient with hand tools and basic test equipment (e.g., multimeter, crimpers, soldering iron)
- Good attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Familiarity with cable looms, connectors, and board-level assemblies is a plus.
