Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
- 2 years of experience managing projects and defining project scope, goals, and deliverables.
- 2 years of experience in data analysis, including SQL or Python etc.
- 2 years of experience in data analysis, including identifying trends, generating summary statistics, and drawing insights from quantitative and qualitative data.
Preferred qualifications:
- Master's degree in a quantitative discipline.
- 5 years of industry experience analyzing, extracting, and visualizing insights from datasets.
- Experience conceptualizing, designing, and building machine learning solutions that were integrated into production systems.
- Knowledge of delivering problem-solving recommendations that were adopted by an organization and drove real-world business impact.
- Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking skills with attention to detail in an fluid environment.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Trust & Safety team members are tasked with identifying and taking on the biggest problems that challenge the safety and integrity of our products. They use technical know-how, excellent problem-solving skills, user insights, and proactive communication to protect users and our partners from abuse across Google products like Search, Maps, Gmail, and Google Ads. On this team, you're a big-picture thinker and strategic team-player with a passion for doing what’s right. In this role, you will be responsible for restricting or preventing fraudsters and abusers to ensure a safe and secure Ads environment for our users. You are proactive, motivated, organized, responsible, innovative and are able to work well in a fluid, global, cross-functional, and team-oriented environment and demonstrate technical know-how, communication to get things done.
You will leverage AI to build solutions, ensuring we establish ground data to inform our models. You will work to set more agentic solutions that can independently work on emerging threats, ensure a safe yet agile ecosystem and ensure user safety while also upholding a pleasant advertiser experience.This role may require occasional graphic content and may require on-call support during weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities
- Execute projects/investigations and cross-functional initiatives within Google, interacting with executive stakeholders from Engineering, Legal, Product teams and more.
- Deliver improvements to our performance metrics based on understanding of drivers of abuse and leverage fellow teammates to deliver business results.
- Provide technical contributions to the team and leverage problem-solving and programming skills to ensure that solutions fit within the current product and backend infrastructures.
- Design and deliver cross-functional solutions at scale, focused on User Safety, Process Optimizations and Safe business for our Advertisers.
- Demonstrate communication and presentation skills and influence cross-functionally at various levels.
