Your Day-to-Day Responsibilities

As a key member of the consulting team, you will actively contribute to the success of complex projects.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Conducting Fieldwork: Performing site investigations and collecting soil and water samples for contaminated land, hazardous materials, and environmental monitoring projects.

  • Assisting with Project Management: Coordinating on-site activities, supervising subcontractors, and managing necessary equipment.

  • Developing Technical Documentation: Drafting high-quality sampling plans, detailed reports, and project proposals.

  • Liaising with Clients: Communicating directly with clients to provide project updates and offer technical support.

This role is a great chance to apply your technical knowledge while developing your project management and client-facing skills in a dynamic environment.

Key Skills and Qualifications

  • A university degree in Environmental Science, Geology, Environmental Engineering, or a related field.

  • 2 to 5 years of consulting experience in contaminated land, hazardous materials, or environmental monitoring.

  • Working knowledge of NSW and Australian standards and regulations is a significant advantage.

  • Strong technical report writing skills and impeccable attention to detail.

  • A full C Class Driver’s Licence is essential for frequent travel to project sites.
