EOI - Medical Receptionist

The Details

As a medical receptionist, you'll be one of the first points of contact for patients, playing a key role in delivering the welcoming and professional experience the practice is known for. Your daily responsibilities will include:

• Greeting and assisting patients in person and over the phone.
• Scheduling appointments and managing bookings.
• Supporting the surgeons, sports doctors, and admin team with day-to-day tasks.
• Handling Medicare, health fund, and third-party billing (training will be provided).
• Using practice software to maintain accurate records (experience with Genie is a bonus, but not required).

About You

We're looking for someone who is:

• Warm, approachable, and compassionate with patients.
• Organised and reliable, with a calm presence during busy moments.
• A genuine team player who enjoys collaborating with others.
• Experienced in medical reception or administration (preferred, but not essential).
