  • Review tender documents to understand project requirements and specifications.
  • Analyze and interpret project plans to identify material and cost requirements.
  • Prepare detailed cost estimates and competitive pricing for geosynthetic materials.
  • Develop quotations in line with tender requirements and company standards.
  • Where applicable, propose superior technical or commercial alternatives.
  • Work closely with engineering, technical, commercial, and project management teams to ensure alignment on project goals and client needs.
  • Liaise with suppliers and subcontractors to obtain optimal pricing and delivery terms.
  • Maintain a high level of accuracy in all estimates and proposals.
  • Identify potential risks and opportunities, recommending viable solutions.
  • Assist in reviewing project scopes for accuracy and completeness.
  • Contribute to project planning and timelines based on cost analysis.
  • Manage multiple tenders and projects simultaneously.
  • Deliver accurate estimates within strict deadlines.

Requirements

  • Minimum 5 years of estimation experience in civil engineering within the Australian market.
  • Experience with containment projects (landfill, mining residual containment facilities, etc.) is advantageous.
  • Proven ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
  • Strong analytical, mathematical, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently and within a team.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
