About the Role

This pivotal role offers an exceptional opportunity for a passionate and experienced culinary leader to shape the dining experience across our diverse outlets, including a la carte services, banquets, and special events. We are looking for a hands-on professional with a proven track record of culinary innovation, operational excellence, and team development within a high-volume, multi-outlet country club, hotel, or resort setting.

As Executive Chef, you will be the driving force behind our culinary vision, responsible for developing innovative menus that delight our members, maintaining the highest standards of food quality and safety, and expertly managing kitchen operations and budgets. You will recruit, train, and mentor a high-performing culinary team, fostering a culture of professionalism and teamwork. Your exceptional communication skills will be key in collaborating with all club departments and engaging directly with members to ensure their utmost satisfaction. Requirements

Required Skills/Abilities:

  • Understands importance of discretion and able to maintain confidentiality
  • Intermediate proficiency with computers
  • Exceptional leadership and management skills with the ability to lead, train, and motivate a large and diverse culinary team.
  • Strong financial acumen with a proven track record of managing food and labor budgets and performing detailed food cost analysis.
  • Advanced culinary skills and a creative approach to menu development.
  • Deep knowledge of kitchen equipment, food sanitation and safety procedures
  • Outstanding organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines simultaneously.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • A "hands-on" and proactive leadership style, with the ability to step in and work at any station as needed.
  • Flexibility to work a schedule that includes evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Education and Experience:

  • Proven experience as an Executive Chef, with a minimum of 7 years of leadership experience in a high-volume, multi-outlet environment, preferably within a country club, hotel, or resort setting.
  • Food Safety Manager Certification Required (renewal paid for by the Club)
