A DAY IN A LIFE
You can expect your days to be pretty varied at Teleport. Multitasking is normal, and sometimes, your skills or natural talents will be leveraged to support other business priorities. That said, the bulk of your working hours should involve you having to:
- Conduct assessments to identify vulnerabilities and potential threats in the supply chain.
- Analyze the impact of disruptions, including cyber threats, natural disasters, and geopolitical risks.
- Develop and implement security strategies, policies, and procedures for the supply chain.
- Operate and monitor security systems, including CCTV, alarm systems, and screening equipment (X-ray machines, metal detectors).
- Perform physical checks and trace found cargo at CBTO Domestic/International.
- Collect and analyze evidence, including documents, electronic records, surveillance footage, and witness statements.
- Conduct internal investigations into misconduct, policy violations, fraud, theft, harassment, and other alleged infractions.
- Work with Legal, HR, Airline Security, and other departments to ensure investigations comply with laws and regulations.
- Review and interpret company policies to identify violations and recommend corrective actions.
- Prepare clear and concise investigation reports with findings, conclusions, and recommendations for management.
- Monitor and track the progress of investigations to ensure timely resolution.
Requirements
- Degree, Diploma, or IATA/ICAO certification in a related field, or equivalent relevant experience.
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in aviation or logistics security.
- Strong knowledge of aviation or supply chain security.
- Familiarity with security systems, tools, and operational protocols.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to remain calm and make sound decisions under pressure.
- High attention to detail with a proactive approach to identifying and mitigating security risks.
