Duty Description:
This position provides contractor support as the Experimentation Integration Lead for the Tactical Systems Integration Laboratory (TSIL) in support of the PEO Missiles and Space (PEO M&S) Integrated Fires Mission Command (IFMC) Project Office within the Systems of Systems Engineering Directorate.
The Experimentation Integration Lead is responsible for direct technical execution of joint and multi-service experimentation events, with a focus on configuring, operating, troubleshooting, and validating systems in a complex lab-based environment.
This role emphasizes hands-on integration and technical oversight of system interoperability, including hardware setup, software configuration, network connectivity, and data capture/analysis during live and simulated experimentation. The individual ensures that integrated systems perform as required, produces data-driven insights from experimentation results, and supports technical recommendations to the government.
Primary Responsibilities
- Execute technical integration activities in support of multi-system and multi-service experimentation events within the TSIL environment.
- Configure, connect, and operate lab systems, including hardware, software, network devices, and simulation/stimulation tools required for joint experimentation.
- Conduct real-time troubleshooting of connectivity, interoperability, and system performance issues across multiple platforms during experimentation events.
- Monitor, collect, and analyze data outputs from experimentation activities to verify interoperability and identify root causes of anomalies.
- Generate after-action reports, data products, and technical findings to support system evaluation and inform follow-on experimentation requirements.
- Interface with engineers, software developers, and system representatives to resolve technical integration issues.
- Validate and document system configurations and network setups to ensure repeatability and traceability of experimentation results.
- Enforce lab technical standards, configuration baselines, and cybersecurity requirements.
- Provide technical advice to government stakeholders on system behavior, data trends, and integration results, focusing on improving interoperability and joint performance.
