We are currently looking to recruit a highly motivated, dynamic, and results-driven individual to join our Exports team as an Exports Area Manager. The ideal candidate will play a key role in expanding our international presence and managing client relationships.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Manage existing accounts and identify new markets / clients for exports/ business opportunities
  • Maintain and increase export sales in the area of his/her responsibility, reaching the targets and goals set forth
  • Carry out markets research, identifying market trends, and study competitors in their marketing and sales strategies
  • Design sales /export strategies and activities suited to the area of his/her responsibility
  • Implement export strategies and activities that would ensure increase in sales and profitability in his/her area of responsibility
  • Submit proposals for the strategic development plan of his/her area of responsibility
  • Establish long-term relationships with clients that will serve as the foundation for long-term business growth
  • Provide excellent customer service and support to his/her clients
  • Travel frequently to the area and the clients he/she is accountable for
  • Represent the company in the world’s largest food & beverage fairs (e.g., ANUGA SIAL), conferences, trade exhibitions
  • Partner with Exports Administration to handle the exports logistics in his/her are of responsibility (e.g., scheduling efficient shipping activities and within required timeframe, identifying appropriate transportation method in assistance with the clients)
  • Monitor and analyse the exports’ sales records (budget, margins, profitability, COGS etc.) and prepare and deliver accordingly sales presentations
  • Prepare annually and monthly in-depth Sales Forecast per area and per client

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or any relevant field
  • Master's degree in Marketing or Management will be considered an asset
  • 6-8 years of relevant work experience ideally in a FMCG environment
  • Excellent knowledge of Greek and English language (verbal & written)
  • Excellent knowledge of MS Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel)
  • Business acumen and strategic thinking
  • Excellent sales and negotiation skills
  • Strong critical and analytical thinking partnered with a commercial mindset
  • Attention-to-detail and results-driven
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities, act independently and make timely decisions
  • Familiarity with SAP is considered a plus
