Team Function:

The team is responsible for:

  • Communicating with business partners in fluent English to understand their needs and translate those needs to technical action.
  • Using SQL and other tools to perform data analysis on incentive programs relating to agent and district manager performance.
  • Writing work request tickets for our data engineering partners to consume in order to establish necessary data pipelines for incentive programs.
  • Developing validations in SQL to ensure that data pipelines developed by IT are working properly.
  • Produce cost estimates for proposed incentive programs based on historical data pulled from our data warehouse.

Role Description:

  • Communicates fluently in English in a business environment to understand requests from stakeholders and independently drive projects forward.
  • Become a subject matter expert on our SQL Server data warehouse.
  • Develops validations using SQL to ensure that data pipelines built by our data engineering team are functioning properly.
  • Perform data analysis upon request using Python (pandas, numpy), SQL (CTEs, window functions), Excel (VLOOKUPs, pivot tables), Power BI, and other tools.
  • Assist the team in maintaining an organized shared data storage environment and writing/editing documentation on the technical processes we develop.
  • Ensures a brand maintains relevance with ever-changing consumer preferences. Analyzes demographics, evaluates consumer research and studies product features in order to understand the consumer. Uses knowledge of the consumer to improve customer experience and marketing effectiveness, leading to tangible business outcomes.
  • Able to design and analyze research studies and tests aimed at understanding consumer behaviors and attitudes. Recommend next steps to use those learnings to improve marketing and customer experience.
  • Applies knowledge of data mining practices, tools, and technologies to find persistent patterns in data. Able to convert data into actionable recommendations.
  • Collects, cleans, and organizes data for processing and analysis.
  • Applies data visualization knowledge and techniques to create impactful data visualizations which enable data-driven decision-making.
