Field Service Technician

Randstad are looking for an experienced Field Service Technician to join a team in Perth. This is a stable, long-term position focused on the servicing and repair of compactor and bailing units at shopping centers across the Perth metropolitan area.

The Role:

You'll be a key part of the waste management services team, working independently to diagnose and resolve mechanical issues. Your day-to-day will involve hands-on repairs, preventative maintenance, and ensuring our equipment operates safely and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform scheduled servicing and breakdown repairs on hydraulic compactor and bailing units.

• Diagnose mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical faults.

• Complete all necessary paperwork and maintenance reports accurately.

• Ensure all work is carried out to a high safety standard.

About You:

• You must hold an Australian recognised Mechanical Trade Certificate.

• You must have demonstrated experience with hydraulics.

• You are an Australian Citizen or Permanent Resident.

• You are willing to undergo and pass a police check and a pre-employment medical.

• You can work independently and have strong problem-solving skills.

• A valid Australian driver's license is required.
