We’re looking for a Recently qualified Mechanical Fitter or Electrician to join a growing team in the waste and recycling industry. This isn't a workshop role ; you'll be on the road, solving real problems, and managing your own day.
The Job: What You'll Be Doing
You're the expert on-site. Every day is different, travelling across Sydney to locations like shopping centres, casinos, residential high rises and industrial sites.
- Service & Repair: Hands-on preventative maintenance and breakdown repairs on essential equipment like Chutes, compactors, balers, and conveyors.
- Fault-Finding: Diagnose and solve mechanical and electrical faults to get machines back up and running.
- Autonomy: Completing 3-7 jobs a day with minimal supervision.
The Deal: What You Get Paid
We pay you for your skills and your time. No ambiguity.
- Competitive Pay: Starting at $45- 47 an hour Permanent, with some wiggle room for experienced technicians, plus paid leave, sick leave, super, call out allowances every 3 weeks and overtime as you want it.
- Company Vehicle: A fully maintained company vehicle is provided.
- Paid On-Call & Overtime: Be on call one week in three. You get paid an on-call allowance, plus penalty rates with a 4-hour minimum payment for any call-out.

What You'll Need
- An Australian Trade Certificate (Mechanical or Electrical).
- A valid C Class Australian Driver's Licence.
- A problem-solving attitude and the ability to work independently.
- You must be an Australian Citizen or Permanent Resident.
- Ability to pass a pre-employment medical, police check, and drug & alcohol screen.
Location
We keep your jobs as close to home as possible, most of our jobs are along the M5 Corridor, Parramatta, North Sydney, and our workshop is in Bankstown.
