About the Role:
We are seeking a skilled Finacle Scripting Specialist to join a leading bank’s Core Banking transformation team. The role involves deep engagement with Finacle 11.x customisation and scripting, including design, development, and enhancement of core banking features. You will be responsible for implementing scalable custom solutions and integrations using Finacle scripting, Unix shell scripting, and related technologies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and develop custom functionalities using Finacle scripting and product enhancement tools
- Create and enhance custom menus, product customisation, batch jobs, and reports (MRT/Jasper)
- Write and optimise Unix Shell scripts for automation and process control
- Integrate Finacle modules using Finacle Integrator (FI), Connect24, and custom APIs
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions
- Analyse and debug issues in EOD/BOD cycles, jobs, and script failures
- Prepare and maintain detailed documentation of scripts and custom modules
- Ensure adherence to coding standards, security protocols, and performance optimisation
- Work in Agile/Scrum environments with cross-functional teams
Technical Skills:
- Strong hands-on experience in Finacle Scripting and Unix Shell Scripting
- In-depth understanding of Finacle Customisation Architecture and Product Layers
- Proficient in Oracle (SQL/PLSQL, stored procedures, triggers, packages)
- Experience with Finacle Integrator (FI), Connect24, and custom API integration
- Report development using MRT/Jasper
- Familiarity with Finacle CRM and Admin modules (FINFADM/SSOADM) is a plus
- Finacle certification from Infosys preferred
Functional Skills:
- Working knowledge of Finacle Core Banking operations
- Strong understanding of banking domain processes and terms
- Experience following Agile delivery methodologies
- Adherence to best practices in secure coding, documentation, and unit testing
