Finance Manager – Financial Reporting & Compliance

We are seeking an experienced Finance Manager – Financial Reporting & Compliance to cover Australian financial reporting for a well-established technology and cloud services business. This is a hands-on role requiring end-to-end ownership of the financial statements, audit coordination, and engagement with local boards.

You will be part of a small but impactful team operating from a modern CBD-based office, contributing to the statutory compliance process during a key reporting period.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the preparation of Australian financial statements in accordance with IFRS
  
  
• Manage and coordinate external audit processes, including liaising with auditors and internal stakeholders
  
  
• Work closely with the local Board of Directors on financial reporting matters
  
  
• Collaborate with global finance teams to ensure consistency and compliance
  
  
• Contribute to process improvements and support automation initiatives
  
  
• Provide input on technical accounting issues relating to new projects or business activity
  
  

About You

• CPA or CA qualified, with a minimum of 5 years’ experience in finance and accounting roles
  
  
• Proven experience preparing statutory financial statements, ideally using Workiva
  
  
• Strong background in external audit, preferably with time spent in Big Four or working with large multinational clients
  
  
• Skilled in technical accounting with solid IFRS knowledge
  
  
• Comfortable working independently in a high-volume, deadline-driven environment
  
  
• Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills
