ESSENTIAL DUTIES

  • Exhibits sincere hospitality. Puts member satisfaction above all else. Has a problem-solving mindset when dealing with difficult situations.  
  • Remains attentive, friendly, helpful, and courteous to guests, managers, and fellow employees. 
  • Reports to work and clocks in/out for scheduled shifts and meal and rest breaks on time and in complete and proper uniform.   
  • Enthusiastically interact with guests and respond promptly to ensure that the client’s requirements and expectations are met.  
  • Sets up banquet and event spaces—including arranging furniture, equipment, and decorations--according to event orders and diagrams.  
  • Assist with loading and unloading of supplies and equipment.  
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of event spaces and storerooms before, during and after events.  
  • Assist with breakdown and cleanup of event areas  
  • Collaborate with Food & Beverage servers to ensure seamless execution of events.  
  • Complies with all food and beverage regulations.  
  • Adhere to guidelines and policies outlined in the employee handbook.  
  • Performs other duties as assigned.  

Requirements

QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS 

 

  • High level of professionalism and attention to detail  
  • Excellent verbal communication and organizational skills 
  • Ability to lift 50 pounds with ease, 75 pounds occasionally and higher weights as needed to accomplish service  
  • Ability to maneuver in a banquet environment.  
  • Problem solving, reasoning, and “thinking out of the box”; ability to apply common sense understanding to better serve our internal and external guests’ needs  
  • Ability to handle guest complaints and resolve them to satisfactory results 
  • Ability to read, comprehend, and abide by the rules of the Employee Handbook 
  • Ability to maintain personal grooming in compliance with appearance standards 

 

EXPERIENCE & EDUCATION 

 

  • High School Diploma or equivalent education 
  • Basic knowledge of food and beverage operations
