About the Role

We’re looking for a Full Stack Development Engineer with proven expertise in building scalable, secure, and high-performing applications using modern frameworks and cloud solutions. This role will be pivotal in:

  • Enhancing and maintaining existing internal systems and incentive programme platforms.
  • Designing and delivering new customer-facing digital products — potentially including white-label web/app solutions.
  • Exploring and developing AI agents that can automate processes, personalise user experiences, and enhance our incentive / merchandise programme platforms.
  • Redeveloping our company website to align with our brand and future vision.

You’ll work closely with our leadership team to deliver user-focused, technically robust solutions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the design, development, and deployment of web and application solutions using Angular (v12 and v18) and .NET (v7 and v8).
  • Develop and maintain integrations with Microsoft Azure services, including Azure B2C authentication.
  • Oversee the redevelopment of www.tlc-live.co.nz, ensuring an engaging, responsive, and high-performing user experience.
  • Research, prototype, and deploy AI-powered agents to support automation, conversational interfaces, data analysis, and customer engagement.
  • Collaborate with the leadership team to translate concepts into functional, scalable solutions.
  • Build and maintain RESTful APIs to connect platforms, AI services, and third-party integrations.
  • Build reusable code libraries and technical documentation for future projects.
  • Ensure robust security, performance, and compliance across all solutions.
  • Stay current with emerging technologies, frameworks, and best practices to keep TLC Live at the forefront of digital engagement.

Requirements

Skills & Experience

Essential:

  • Strong experience in Angular (v12 and v18) and .NET (v7 and v8).
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Azure, particularly Azure B2C authentication.
  • Proven track record in full-stack development (front-end, back-end, APIs, and database design).
  • Experience building and consuming RESTful APIs.
  • Familiarity with AI agent development, large language models (LLMs), or integration of AI APIs (e.g., OpenAI, Azure AI, Google Vertex AI).  (see list of AI Agent Use-Case Ideas TLC is exploring)
  • Strong understanding of automation workflows and data-driven personalisation.
  • Solid understanding of security best practices and performance optimisation.
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.

Preferred:

  • Experience in UI/UX design principles and modern web aesthetics.
  • Experience designing conversational interfaces or chatbots.
  • Knowledge of e-commerce or incentive/loyalty platform development.
  • Experience with RESTful APIs and third-party integrations.
  • Familiarity with Agile methodologies.
