Software That Saves Lives
Critically ill children are often treated with coarse, one-size-fits-all dosing. This can lead to toxic side effects or ineffective treatment. We're changing that.
Vesynta is an investor-backed HealthTech company, headquartered in London, building an advanced personalised prescribing platform to help clinicians dose medication safely and effectively. We exist to protect vulnerable patients who have been poorly served by traditional prescribing techniques, e.g. children, women, and those with diverse ethnic heritages.
As a Full Stack Engineer, you will be at the heart of this mission. You'll build and scale the core clinical platform that puts life-saving data directly into the hands of doctors and pharmacists, shaping a product that has a real, measurable impact on patient outcomes.
The Opportunity: What You'll Build & Own
As an early engineer, you won't just be executing tasks—you'll be shaping the foundation of our company and product. Here’s what that looks like:
- Full-Stack Ownership You'll take ideas from concept to reality, leading feature development across our Next.js frontend and Django backend. No silos, no handoffs—just end-to-end ownership.
- A High-Stakes Backend You'll architect and build the critical APIs that form the engine of our platform, handling complex dosing models and secure integrations with hospital EHR systems.
- A UI Where Design Saves Lives You'll craft the intuitive, responsive user interface that clinicians will rely on to make critical, time-sensitive decisions. This is frontend work with a profound real-world impact.
- Strategic Technical Influence Your voice will be crucial in shaping our architecture. You'll help choose our tools, define our roadmap, and make the key decisions that enable us to scale.
- Culture of Excellence You'll do more than write code. You'll elevate the entire team by mentoring others, championing best practices, and helping us build a world-class engineering culture from the ground up.
The Products
Our cloud-based, Electronic Health Record-integrated applications empower healthcare professionals (hospital-based clinicians, pharmacists and nurses) with actionable precision dosing insights across multiple therapeutic areas (incl. including antibiotics, chemotherapeutics and immunosuppressants), supporting the end-to-end process of Therapeutic Drug Monitoring and clinical Model Informed Precision Dosing. We work with modern cloud architectures and the latest in web technology to ensure scalability, security, and impact.
Our recruitment process
Our process is designed to be efficient, transparent, and respectful of your time. It's conducted entirely online and typically takes 2-3 weeks.
- Code Analysis (Asynchronous): Review code supplied by us, answer multiple choice questions to demonstrate your skills fingerprint across our tech stack.
- Pre-recorded Questions (Asynchronous): Record short video answers to a few questions about your professional experience. This gives you the flexibility to respond on your own schedule.
- Practical Build (Take-Home Assignment): Develop a defined feature, showcasing your solution engineering approach.
- Technical Discussion (Live Interview): Discuss your assignment, and dive deeper into your experience, with our engineering leadership. Ask us hard questions and align on the technical vision.
During the process, have the opportunity for an informal chat with our CTO.
How we work with recruiters
We only work with select recruitment partners on a pre-arranged basis. We do not review or accept unsolicited CVs or offers of engagement from recruiters.

- Frontend: Professional experience building modern UIs with React and Next.js, ideally using TypeScript.
- Cloud & DevOps: Proven experience deploying production applications to a major cloud provider (AWS, GCP, or Azure) and working with CI/CD pipelines.
Bonus Points
You'll really stand out if you have experience with:
- Infrastructure & Orchestration: Using Terraform or Kubernetes to manage infrastructure.
- Healthcare Integrations: Working with standards like HL7 SMART-on-FHIR or platforms like Epic/Cerner.
- The Startup Environment: Building and scaling SaaS products, especially in a regulated domain like healthcare.
