Job summary
The GIS Team Lead will be responsible for overseeing the development and implementation of GIS solutions using Angular Core Java and Mongo DB. This role requires a blend of technical expertise and project management skills to ensure the successful delivery of GIS projects. The candidate will work in a hybrid model primarily during day shifts and will not require travel.
Responsibilities
Lead the design and development of GIS applications using Angular ensuring high performance and responsiveness.Oversee the integration of Core Java components to enhance the functionality of GIS solutions.Provide expertise in Mongo DB to manage and optimize spatial data storage and retrieval.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze requirements for GIS projects.Ensure the timely delivery of GIS solutions by managing project timelines and resources effectively.Conduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members to maintain code quality.Implement best practices for GIS data management and security to protect sensitive information.Develop and maintain documentation for GIS applications to support ongoing maintenance and updates.Facilitate training sessions for team members to enhance their technical skills and knowledge in GIS technologies.Monitor the performance of GIS applications and troubleshoot any issues to ensure seamless operation.Coordinate with stakeholders to provide regular updates on project progress and address any concerns.Drive innovation by exploring new technologies and methodologies to improve GIS solutions.Foster a collaborative team environment that encourages knowledge sharing and continuous improvement.Qualifications
Possess strong experience in Angular for developing dynamic web applications.Demonstrate proficiency in Core Java for building robust backend systems.Have expertise in Mongo DB for efficient data management and retrieval.Show experience in leading GIS projects and managing cross-functional teams.Exhibit excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.Display strong communication skills for effective collaboration with stakeholders.Hold a bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Technology or a related field.Certifications Required
