Are you passionate about gourmet food and delivering exceptional customer service? We’re looking for a hard-working, positive individual to lead our Gourmet/Deli Team! This is a leadership role with the opportunity to make a meaningful impact, mentor team members, and help drive the success of the department.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and support the Deli/Gourmet team to ensure smooth daily operations and exceptional customer service
  • Use your expertise in gourmet products to assist guests with selecting and pairing cheeses with wine, beer, and spirits
  • Help guests curate personalized gift baskets with gourmet items
  • Stay informed on trends and developments in gourmet foods, and share insights with the team
  • Oversee proper stock rotation, ensure freshness, and manage the removal of expired items
  • Train and mentor team members, fostering a positive and productive work environment

The starting hourly rate for this position is $20 per hour.

Requirements

  • Passion for gourmet food, including cheese, wine, and specialty items
  • Proven customer service and communication skills, with a focus on creating exceptional guest experiences
  • Leadership experience or strong leadership potential in a retail or food service environment
  • Ability to lift up to 40 lbs. and remain on your feet for extended periods
  • Basic computer skills for inventory, scheduling, and communication tasks
  • High attention to detail and a proactive, hands-on approach to problem-solving
  • Reliable team player who thrives in a fast-paced, dynamic setting
  • Must be at least 18 years old
