We're seeking an experienced Fitter with a strong background in mechanical fitting, hydro and pneumatic testing, and flange management for a DIDO (drive-in, drive-out) role on a 2 weeks on, 1 week off roster.
About the Role
This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled Fitter to join our team on a remote project. You'll be responsible for performing a variety of fitting tasks, with a specific focus on pipeline integrity and testing. Your expertise will be crucial in ensuring the safety and efficiency of our operations. The role is a DIDO position, operating on a 2:1 roster.
Key Responsibilities
Hydro testing and pneumatic testing of pipelines and pressure equipment.
Mechanical fitting and flange management, including bolting and tensioning.
Conducting pre-start checks and safety inspections.
Working with rigging and dogging equipment.
Performing gas testing and monitoring.
Operating a 4WD vehicle on-site.
Skills & Experience Required
Proven experience as a Fitter, with a focus on hydro and pneumatic testing.
Strong knowledge of flange management and mechanical fitting principles.
Hold a valid 4WD ticket and experience operating a 4WD.
Have an ISI ticket (Integrated Safety Induction).
Current Dogman/Rigger ticket.
Current Gas Test ticket.
