As we scale our operations and work towards obtaining the MiCA license, we are seeking a highly experienced and motivated Head of Finance in Vilnius to lead our financial strategy, regulatory readiness, and operational execution.
Your Role
As Head of Finance, you will be responsible for the overall financial leadership of the company, ensuring regulatory compliance, financial integrity, and sustainable growth. You will play a key leadership role, reporting directly to the CEO, and be instrumental in supporting the group's vision of becoming a fully licensed and regulated crypto service provider in Lithuania with operations in EU and globally.
Key Responsibilities
- Financial Leadership & Strategy: Develop and execute the group’s financial strategy in alignment with business objectives and regulatory milestones (e.g., MiCA license).
- Financial Operations Oversight: Lead all financial, accounting, and treasury functions across the company and its group entities, ensuring robust financial health and operational efficiency. Ensure accounting standards and tax compliance are adhered to.
- Budgeting & Forecasting: Prepare and manage annual budgets, financial forecasts, and cash flow planning to guide strategic planning and decision-making.
- Regulatory Compliance: Ensure full compliance with Lithuanian and EU financial regulations, including MiCA and Bank of Lithuania requirements, oversee periodic regulatory reporting.
- Safeguarding & Capital Adequacy: Act as the designated Safeguarding Officer and Capital Adequacy Officer, ensuring client funds are protected and company capital is maintained in line with legal requirements.
- Financial Reporting and Analysis: Oversee the preparation and delivery of accurate financial statements (P&L, balance sheet, cash flow) and internal reports, provide financial insights and analysis to support strategic decisions at executive level.
- Internal Controls & Audit: Build and maintain strong internal control frameworks and oversee periodic financial audits and risk mitigation procedures.
- Cost Control & Performance Monitoring: Implement cost-efficiency strategies and establish financial KPIs, dashboards, and metrics to monitor performance and guide improvements.
- Stakeholder & Collaboration: Serve as a key advisor to the CEO and executive leadership. Work closely with external accountants, advisors, auditors, and regulators to ensure transparency and readiness for supervision.
Requirements
- Proven experience (5+ years) in a senior finance leadership role, ideally within fintech, crypto, banking, or regulated financial services.
- Strong understanding of EU and Lithuanian regulatory frameworks, including MiCA.
- Demonstrated experience in managing regulatory capital, safeguarding obligations, and statutory reporting.
- Deep knowledge of financial and management accounting, tax, audit, and treasury functions.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced and evolving environment.
- Fluent in English and Lithuanian.

Depending on the skill set and experience, the salary for this role is 60'000 - 72'000 EUR per year gross.
