We are growing and looking to recruit a Full-Time Head of Operations to join our team in Cyprus - a certified Great Place to Work®.
The Head of Operations is a senior role responsible for overseeing and managing the operational functions of the brokerage, ensuring smooth and efficient day-to-day activities. This includes client onboarding, funding, and payment solutions globally. The role requires a strong understanding of the CFD/FX market, experience in a managerial position within the industry, and the ability to lead and motivate a team.

Responsibilities:
Strategic Leadership
- Develops and implements operational strategies aligned with the company's goals, focusing on efficiency, risk management, and client satisfaction.
Supervising and Managing Operations
- Overseeing the daily operations of the brokerage, including client onboarding, funding and payment processing.
Team Management
- Leads and motivates a team of operations professionals, fostering a positive and productive work environment, alongside providing guidance, training, and performance management.
Process Optimisation
- Identifies areas for improvement in operational workflows, implements solutions to enhance efficiency and reduce costs.
Technology Management
- Collaborates with IT teams to ensure the effectiveness of systems and platforms, driving the implementation of new technologies where appropriate
Compliance
- Ensures that the organisation complies with relevant regulations and industry standards.
Stakeholder Management
- Maintains strong relationships with internal teams (e.g., sales, technology, compliance) and external partners (e.g. payment providers, technology vendors).
Performance Monitoring
- Tracks key performance indicators (KPIs) and Service Level Agreements (SLAs) related to operational efficiency and client satisfaction, taking corrective actions as needed.
Reporting and Analysis
- Generating regular reports on operational performance, analysing data, and providing insights to senior management
Budget Management
- Contributes to the development and management of the operational budget.
Client Relationship Management
- May be involved in client onboarding, account maintenance, and resolving escalated issues.
Candidate Profile:
- Deep understanding of the CFD and FOREX markets, including trading platforms, products, and regulatory landscape
- Proven experience (5+ years) in operations leadership / managerial roles within brokerages, with a track record of leading and developing teams, and delivering successful business outcomes
- Strong understanding of operational processes, including client onboarding, funding and payment processing
- Ability to analyse data, identify trends, and make data-driven decisions
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with team members, senior management, and external partners
- Ability to identify and resolve operational issues efficiently and effectively
- Knowledge of relevant regulations and compliance requirements
- Experience in budget management and financial reporting
- Educated to at least degree level in a relevant field
