FP Markets Group of Companies is a well-established multi-regulated broker, founded in Australia, offering traders access to CFD trading on Forex, Indices, Commodities, Stocks and Cryptocurrencies. We are growing and looking to recruit a Full-Time Head of Operations to join our team in Cyprus - a certified Great Place to Work®.

The Head of Operations is a senior role responsible for overseeing and managing the operational functions of the brokerage, ensuring smooth and efficient day-to-day activities. This includes client onboarding, funding, and payment solutions globally. The role requires a strong understanding of the CFD/FX market, experience in a managerial position within the industry, and the ability to lead and motivate a team.

Reporting to: COO

Responsibilities:

Strategic Leadership

  • Develops and implements operational strategies aligned with the company's goals, focusing on efficiency, risk management, and client satisfaction. 

Supervising and Managing Operations

  • Overseeing the daily operations of the brokerage, including client onboarding, funding and payment processing. 

Team Management

  • Leads and motivates a team of operations professionals, fostering a positive and productive work environment, alongside providing guidance, training, and performance management. 

Process Optimisation

  • Identifies areas for improvement in operational workflows, implements solutions to enhance efficiency and reduce costs. 

Technology Management

  • Collaborates with IT teams to ensure the effectiveness of systems and platforms, driving the implementation of new technologies where appropriate

Compliance

  • Ensures that the organisation complies with relevant regulations and industry standards. 

Stakeholder Management

  • Maintains strong relationships with internal teams (e.g., sales, technology, compliance) and external partners (e.g. payment providers, technology vendors). 

Performance Monitoring

  • Tracks key performance indicators (KPIs) and Service Level Agreements (SLAs) related to operational efficiency and client satisfaction, taking corrective actions as needed. 

Reporting and Analysis

  • Generating regular reports on operational performance, analysing data, and providing insights to senior management 

Budget Management

  • Contributes to the development and management of the operational budget. 

Client Relationship Management

  • May be involved in client onboarding, account maintenance, and resolving escalated issues.

Candidate Profile:

  • Deep understanding of the CFD and FOREX markets, including trading platforms, products, and regulatory landscape
  • Proven experience (5+ years) in operations leadership / managerial roles within brokerages, with a track record of leading and developing teams, and delivering successful business outcomes
  • Strong understanding of operational processes, including client onboarding, funding and payment processing
  • Ability to analyse data, identify trends, and make data-driven decisions
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with team members, senior management, and external partners
  • Ability to identify and resolve operational issues efficiently and effectively
  • Knowledge of relevant regulations and compliance requirements
  • Experience in budget management and financial reporting
  • Educated to at least degree level in a relevant field
