Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
- 15 years of experience in business development, partnerships, management consulting, corporate strategy, law, or investment banking, in smart home technology, consumer electronics, digital services, or consumer information fields.
- Experience influencing and managing relationships with C-level executives.
- Experience managing agreements or partnerships including early discussions, structuring agreements, legal reviews, and deployment with enterprise level customers.
Preferred qualifications:
- MBA or JD.
- 3 years of experience managing people or teams.
- Experience managing a large deal portfolio with companies.
- Experience building complex technical partnerships from scratch through deployment.
- Ability to facilitate discussions, structure agreements, interpret legal documents, and work with legal teams to sign and manage agreements, in partnership with business and technical stakeholders.
- Demonstrated ability to understand complex technical concepts for the purpose of developing and strengthening agreements.

As the Head of Partnerships, Home Platform & AI, you will lead the team responsible for new platform and AI development focused on business generation. You will partner directly with the senior stakeholders across the Devices & Services Business organization and Home Business Development organization to draft and execute on agreement portfolios that drive business generation and AI development for the smart home.
The Global Partnerships organization is responsible for exploring new opportunities with Google's partners. The Global Partnerships team supports Google’s own Product teams with essential partnerships to help Google’s user experiences in advertising, Search, Assistant, Maps, Travel, Shopping, Payments and more. Teams create product-enabling partnerships, go-to-market strategies and incubate business growth for a variety of products.
The US base salary range for this full-time position is $218,000-$306,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Responsibilities
- Act as an agreement portfolio leader for the smart home business, leading large complex agreements that develop AI and/or monetize AI for the smart home.
- Build and maintain deep strategic relationships with external partners and internal stakeholders across business and technical teams to drive the best partner experience and ensure product excellence.
- Oversee end-to-end partner experience to ensure agreement integration which includes discussing and finalizing agreements, executing on account plans, pitching to partners, resolving partner issues, and advocating on behalf of the partner.
- Drive operational accuracy to support execution of the highest priority partnership goals, and drive alignment across product and engineering teams and with key executive cross-functional stakeholders.
- Manage, motivate, and develop a high-performing partnerships team.
