Holy Quran/Arabic Instructor- Mauritania

We are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Holy Quran/Arabic Instructor to join our team in Mauritania. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Quranic studies and Arabic language instruction, and be passionate about teaching and helping students develop their religious knowledge and language skills.

Benchmarks and standards:

- Candidates must have a deep understanding of the Holy Quran and be able to teach Tajweed rules and proper recitation.

- Candidates must have a proven track record of teaching Arabic language to non-Arabic speakers of various ages and proficiency levels.

- Candidates must be fluent in both written and spoken Arabic, with strong communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Teach Holy Quranic studies and Arabic language to students of various ages and proficiency levels.
• Develop lesson plans and instructional materials to meet the needs of individual students and small groups.
• Provide guidance and support to students in their Quranic memorization and recitation.
• Assess students' progress and provide constructive feedback.
• Create a positive and engaging learning environment.
• Collaborate with other instructors and staff members to ensure a cohesive educational experience.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Islamic Studies or a related field.
• Extensive knowledge and understanding of the Holy Quran and Tajweed rules.
• Proven experience in teaching Arabic language to non-Arabic speakers.
• Fluency in written and spoken Arabic.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Excellent organizational and time management abilities.
• Ability to work effectively with students of various ages and backgrounds.
• Prior experience in curriculum development and lesson planning is preferred.
