About the Role

We are seeking dedicated and compassionate Home Care Workers to join our team in Newcastle. The ideal candidates will provide essential support to individuals in their homes, ensuring they receive the care and assistance they need to maintain their independence and quality of life.

Key Requirements

• NDIS Clearance: Must have current NDIS clearance.
• NDIS Orientation: Completion of NDIS orientation training is required.
• First Aid and CPR Certification: Valid certification is essential.
• Vehicle and License: Must have a reliable vehicle, a valid driver’s license, and full comprehensive insurance.
• Relevant Qualifications: Appropriate qualifications in aged care, disability support, or a related field.
• Availability: Must be available for 3 or more days per week, Monday to Friday.
• Work Rights: Candidates must have the legal right to work in Australia.

Typical Duties

• Domestic Assistance: Provide cooking, cleaning, and general household support.
• Personal Care: Assist with personal care needs, including bathing, dressing, and grooming.
• Transportation: Take clients to shopping, appointments, and social activities.
• Companionship: Offer companionship and emotional support to clients.
