Hydro Vac Operator

About the Role: We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Hydro Vac Operator to join our team. This is an excellent opportunity to work with a leading company in the non-destructive digging and civil construction industry. The successful candidate will be responsible for operating hydro excavation equipment in a safe and efficient manner, completing projects to the highest standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Operating and maintaining hydro excavation trucks and equipment.
• Performing non-destructive digging for utility exposure, trenching, and potholing.
• Following all safety protocols and company procedures.
• Conducting pre-start checks and routine maintenance on equipment.
• Collaborating with the team to ensure project deadlines are met.
• Ensuring compliance with bluebook certification standards.

Skills & Experience

• Proven experience as a Hydro Vac Operator.
• Valid truck license (HR/HC preferred).
• Strong commitment to safety and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.

The following will be highly regarded:

• Confined Space Entry ticket
• Working at Heights ticket
• First Aid Certificate
• Experience in locating underground utilities.
