The ICT Manager is responsible for ensuring the stability, security, and efficiency of the organization’s IT infrastructure. This leadership role involves strategic planning, policy implementation, and continuous improvement of IT operations to support business growth. The position requires close collaboration with executives and department heads to align IT initiatives with organizational goals, while leading the IT team towards operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities
IT Infrastructure & Security Management
- Oversee and manage the organization’s IT infrastructure to ensure maximum uptime and robust data protection.
- Develop, implement, and enforce IT security policies, procedures, and best practices in compliance with regulatory standards.
- Conduct regular assessments of IT systems to identify performance gaps and areas for improvement.
- Ensure effective disaster recovery and business continuity plans are in place and regularly updated.
Strategic Planning & Innovation
- Develop and execute strategic IT plans to optimize operations and support innovation.
- Research, evaluate, and recommend emerging technologies and solutions to enhance efficiency and scalability.
- Provide regular updates and strategic recommendations to senior management on IT infrastructure and security matters.
Leadership & Team Development
- Lead and manage the IT team, fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement.
- Identify and implement training and development programs to strengthen technical expertise within the team.
Project & Vendor Management
- Oversee the planning, execution, and completion of IT projects within set timelines and budgets.
- Apply project management best practices to ensure successful delivery of IT initiatives.
- Evaluate vendor proposals, negotiate contracts, and manage vendor relationships to align services with business objectives.
Operational Support
- Monitor IT infrastructure performance, operating costs, and upgrade requirements.
- Establish standards for efficiency and effectiveness in IT operations.
- Ensure timely response and resolution to IT-related issues across the organization.
Other Duties
- Perform other IT-related tasks as assigned to support the department’s and organization’s overall success.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field.
- Minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in IT, with at least several years in a leadership role.
- Strong background in IT strategy, enterprise infrastructure management, and project leadership.
- Proficient in security policy development, risk assessment, and implementation of security measures (firewalls, encryption, etc.).
- Experience managing cloud platforms, migrations, and cost optimization.
- Familiarity with agile methodologies, CI/CD, version control systems, and database management.
- Proven ability to manage cross-functional teams, budgets, and vendor relationships.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, capable of conveying complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
Benefits
Salary Range: PHP 65,000 – 80,000
