As an Implementation Project Manager for the MineStar product family, you won’t just manage timelines—you’ll be at the forefront of transforming how mining operations leverage cutting-edge technology. What You’ll Do:
Lead end-to-end implementation of MineStar technologies at customer sites.
Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and aligned with scope.
Follow and continuously improve the MineStar Implementation Center of Excellence (COE) process.
Participate in quoting and commercial handoffs, bringing your mining expertise to the table.
Deliver stable, high-performing solutions and ensure smooth transitions to support teams.
Communicate project status globally, acting as the face of Caterpillar’s technology deployment.
Coordinate training and support resources to ensure customer success.
What skills will you have:
Mining Industry Insight: Direct experience in mining operations is essential. Must understand site-specific workflows, communicate effectively with field teams, and design technology solutions that are rugged, reliable, and sustainable in high-stakes environments.
Strategic & Tactical Planning: Ability to contribute to short-term operational, mid-term tactical, and long-term strategic planning aligned with business goals.
Project Management & Administration: Proven experience managing projects from initiation to delivery, including scheduling, resource allocation, and reporting.
Critical Thinking & Decision Making: Strong analytical skills with the ability to assess complex situations and make informed, effective decisions.
Data Gathering & Reporting: Proficiency in collecting, analyzing, and presenting data to support project performance and business insights.
Application Implementation: Experience deploying and supporting enterprise applications to meet functional and operational needs.
Top Candidates will also have:
4 + years of Fleet management Software exposure.
Experience working with customers outside of the United States.
Additional Information:
The primary location for this position is Tucson, AZ.
Domestic relocation assistance is available.
This position may require 25 % travel.

Summary Pay Range:
$110,520.00 - $165,840.00Compensation and benefits offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, job level, market location, job-related knowledge, skills, individual performance and experience. Please note that salary is only one component of total compensation at Caterpillar.
