We are continuously growing and, on behalf of our client based in Athens, we are looking for an Information Security Analyst to join and support our UniQue Security & Compliance Services team in the areas of threat monitoring, incident handling, and reporting.

The ideal candidate will demonstrate a strong interest in information security, a structured approach to analysis, and the ability to collaborate effectively within a team environment.

For the Information Security Analyst, we expect you to:

  • Monitor, analyze, and report on security events and threat intelligence data.
  • Assist in the identification and triage of potential security incidents.
  • Support internal processes related to threat monitoring, data quality, and procedural documentation.
  • Contribute to regular updates, clean-up activities, and threat landscape reporting.
  • Participate in team meetings and collaborate with colleagues across functions to support security initiatives.

Requirements

Your experience, skillset and qualifications are going to help you succeed in this position, moving forward..

  • University/College degree in Information Security, Computer Science, or a related technical field.
  • 1-2 years of proven working experience in a similar role.
  • Solid understanding of cybersecurity fundamentals, including threat vectors, vulnerabilities, and basic security controls.
  • Familiarity with security tooling (e.g., SIEM platforms, endpoint protection, threat intelligence systems).
  • Good analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication skills in English (both written and verbal).
  • Ability to follow structured procedures and work both independently and as part of a team.

Nice-to-Have Skills:

  • Familiarity with cyber threat intelligence platforms (e.g., OpenCTI, MISP).
  • Basic understanding of structured threat information formats (e.g., STIX, TAXII).
  • Exposure to JSON, XML, or similar data formats.
  • Awareness of the current cyber threat landscape and key actors.
  • Previous internship or entry-level experience in a security-related role.
  • Relevant certifications (e.g., Security+, ISO/IEC 27001 Foundation, or equivalent) are a plus.
