Envision Employment Solutions is currently looking for an Integration Platform, Factory Manager for one of our partners, a global leader in the food and services industry.
Job Summary:
The Integration Platform, Factory Manager is responsible for leading a team of integration engineers and specialists to design, develop, and maintain robust integration solutions within a complex, heterogeneous landscape. This role requires a deep understanding of integration technologies, architectural patterns, industry best practices, and specific expertise in SAP Integration Suite, Advanced Event Mesh, Azure Functions, Azure Custom APIs, and experience integrating with various enterprise applications like SAP S/4, Microsoft D365 Sales & Marketing, Blue Yonder (formerly JDA), Anaplan, Workday. The Manager will oversee the entire integration lifecycle, from initial requirements gathering to deployment and ongoing support.
Responsibilities:
- Integration Operations:
- Ensure world-class performance and availability of the integration platform and tools.
- Incident, Service Request and Problem Management process with focus on pro-active issue and problem detection through observability tooling and other instrumentation.
- Objective is to prevent incidents before impact on users and business. In case of incidents and problems ensure that and tickets are resolved fast (MTTR, SLA).
- Monitor and troubleshoot integration issues across the heterogeneous landscape, including cloud, and all enterprise application integrations.
- Implement robust monitoring and alerting mechanisms tailored for the diverse application environment.
- Manage incident response and problem resolution, coordinating with relevant application support teams (SAP S/4, SAP MDG, D365, Blue Yonder, Anaplan, Workday).
- Ensure highest user satisfaction scores are achieved (NPS),
- Integration Development:
- Oversee the development and deployment of integration solutions, including those connecting SAP S/4, D365, Blue Yonder, Anaplan, and Workday with each other and other systems.
- Ensure adherence to high quality coding standards and best practises, security best practices, and performance optimization techniques, considering the unique characteristics of each application.
- Conduct code reviews and provide technical guidance, particularly on integration patterns and best practices for the various systems in the landscape.
- Ensure high velocity and productivity of the integration team members. Ensure that integration team members deliver working software and business outcomes that drive value for the company's Hellenic.
- Team Leadership:
- Recruit, hire, and manage a high-performing team of integration engineers and specialists with diverse skills applicable to the heterogeneous application landscape.
- Foster a collaborative and innovative team culture.
- Provide mentorship and coaching to team members, addressing the specific challenges of integrating diverse systems, including SAP-specific integration patterns.
- Set clear performance expectations and provide regular feedback.
- Stakeholder Management:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with business stakeholders, and Digital Platform and Product Teams who are responsible for the applications that you are accountable to integrate processes and data (e.g. SAP S/4, SAP MDG, D365, Blue Yonder, Anaplan, Workday). These stakeholder groups includePlatform Managers, Product Managers, business process owners, key users and end-users and technical staff (e.g. engineers, architects).
- Communicate effectively with technical and non-technical audiences, tailoring communication to the specific application and stakeholder group.
- Manage expectations and deliver on commitments, considering the complexities of integrating diverse systems.
- Integration Strategy & Architecture:
- Develop and execute a long-term integration strategy aligned with the organization's business objectives, encompassing SAP, cloud, and other enterprise systems. Collaborate closely with Enterprise Architects.
- Evaluate emerging technologies and trends to identify opportunities for innovation within the heterogeneous application ecosystem.
- Define and enforce standards, guidelines, and best practices for integration development, considering the specific requirements of each system (SAP S/4, D365, Blue Yonder, Anaplan, Workday, etc.).
- Design and maintain a scalable and maintainable integration architecture, leveraging SAP Integration Suite, Advanced Event Mesh, Azure Functions, Azure Custom APIs, and other appropriate technologies for connecting diverse systems. Embed this architecture in Enterprise Architecture Framework and Roadmaps.
- Define and enforce architectural principles and standards, addressing the specific integration patterns required for each application (e.g., real-time vs. batch, API-led vs. message-driven).
- Collaborate with other platform, product and development factory teams, including application-specific teams (SAP S/4, D365, Blue Yonder, Anaplan, Workday), to ensure seamless integration.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Minimum 10+ years proven experience in managing integration teams and projects within heterogeneous application landscapes.
- Inspirational Leader with a passion to deliver high-quality integration flows.
- Deep understanding of integration technologies (e.g., ESB, API management, messaging, data integration).
- Strong knowledge of integration patterns and architectural styles, including those specific to various enterprise applications.
- Extensive experience with SAP Integration Suite (Cloud Platform Integration, API Management, etc.), Advanced Event Mesh (formerly Solace).
- Experience with cloud-based integration platforms (e.g., Azure Integration Services). Proficiency in developing and deploying Azure Functions and Azure Custom APIs.
- Experience integrating with Microsoft D365 Sales & Marketing, Blue Yonder (formerly JDA) solutions, Anaplan, Workday, are an advantage.
- Extensive experience with SAP IDOCs, including design, development, and troubleshooting. Experience with SAP Data Replication Framework (DRF) configuration and usage.
- Proficiency in scripting languages (e.g., Python, PowerShell).
- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills, including issues related to various enterprise applications.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to lead and motivate teams.
- Strong understanding of SAFe, ITIL and DevOps principles.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and automation tools, particularly for deploying integrations across a heterogeneous landscape.
- Experience with security best practices for integration solutions within a diverse application environment.
- Certifications in relevant integration technologies are a plus as well as certifications in SAP S/4, SAP MDG, Microsoft, Blue Yonder, Anaplan, or Workday.
- FMCG background or experience working with FMCG
