Job Description

What you get to do in this role:

  • Engineering of new tools and processes within localization
  • Linguistic testing of the localized content: typo, grammar, punctuation, syntax etc.
  • Interact with engineering to ensure accuracy is preserved across language
  • Escalating key quality issues and driving resolution for them
  • Functionality testing of the ServiceNow Platform
  • Ability to do manual testing and use automated testing tools
  • Creation of test plans and drive projects with other test teams
  • You will identify Internationalization/localization bugs, categorize them properly, and support development teams to fix/verify the bugs to closure
  • Seek continuous improvement in the quality assurance processes
  • Provide valuable feedback and be part of a market leader

Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

  • Current enrollment in a full-time Master's Degree program in Translation Studies, Translation Technology, Computer Science or a related discipline at an accredited university.
  • Must be a student for the full duration of the internship and returning to college for at least one semester following completion of the internship i.e. graduating in 2027
  • Must be available to start on 15th June 2026
  • Commit to the full-time 6-12 months internship duration
  • Native-level proficiency in another language as well as English is beneficial
  • Excellent English written and verbal communication skills with the ability to present complex technical information in a clear and concise manner
  • Acute attention to details
  • Understanding of functional testing methodologies
  • Proven ability to work with teams and build a high-performance culture
  • Previous experience with enterprise level localization testing / test leading is an advantage
  • Familiarity with localization/translation tools
  • Some knowledge of automated testing frameworks, including Java, JUnit, Selenium, TestNG and other open-source projects
  • Desire to interact with many different software development teams to test and report on product issues pertaining to localization
  • Flexibility to respond, and react to changing priorities efficiently and quickly
  • Pro -active and self-motivated, with demonstrated creative and critical capabilities

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in evaluating or integrating AI into work processes, decision-making, or problem-solving through AI tools, automating workflows, analyzing AI-driven insights, or assessing AI's potential impact
  • Understanding of foundational AI concepts including basic prompt engineering
  • Full-stack development capabilities with software design principles and agile methodologies
  • Demonstrated experience in constructing scalable, secure, and efficient software systems
  • Proficiency in data structures and algorithms. Basic understanding of relational data modeling
  • Previous software engineering experience gained from internships, academic or personal projects, coding competitions or relevant publications
