As the brand continues to expand across both direct-to-consumer (DTC) and retail channels, particularly through Sephora, they are seeking an experienced Inventory Analyst to ensure that their inventory strategy supports an exceptional customer experience and sustained long-term growth.
About the Role
As the Inventory Analyst, the selected candidate will play a key role in maintaining healthy inventory levels across both direct-to-consumer (Shopify) and retail (Sephora) channels. Responsibilities include monitoring stock movements, analyzing sales and replenishment data, and ensuring accurate reporting across systems. This highly collaborative role interfaces with operations, finance, retail partnerships, and supply chain. A strong attention to detail and the ability to identify trends will directly support the company’s ability to scale efficiently while meeting customer expectations.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor inventory levels across all channels to identify stock discrepancies, risks, and opportunities.
- Analyze sell-through data and historical trends to make data-informed inventory recommendations.
- Support replenishment processes for DTC and retail, including creating and updating purchase order plans and reorder triggers.
- Maintain inventory reporting tools and dashboards with real-time accuracy.
- Collaborate with the operations and logistics teams to support accurate receiving, transfers, and fulfillment processes.
- Partner with the demand planning and retail teams to support inventory alignment for Sephora, ensuring timely and accurate replenishments.
- Perform routine SKU audits to ensure system integrity across Shopify, Cin7/DEAR Systems (or equivalent), and 3PL platforms.
- Identify and escalate any inventory discrepancies, shipping delays, or stock variances.
- Assist with end-of-month inventory reconciliation and reporting for finance and leadership.
Requirements
- 2–4 years of experience in inventory analysis, operations, supply chain, or related field.
- Strong understanding of Sephora’s inventory and retail operations (required).
- Hands-on experience with Shopify and familiarity with its inventory management capabilities (required).
- Experience with Cin7 and/or DEAR Systems or similar inventory/ERP platforms (preferred).
- High proficiency in Excel/Google Sheets for data analysis and reporting.
- Analytical mindset with strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration abilities.
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, remote-first environment.

- Experience working in beauty, wellness, or CPG brands.
- Knowledge of 3PL operations and fulfillment processes.
- Experience with BI/reporting tools like Looker, Tableau, or Power BI.
