SASMAR is looking for a motivated IT Assistant to join our energetic team. As a prominent pharmaceutical company specializing in personal care and fertility products, including our famous Conceive Plus brand, SASMAR provides quality products distributed across over 70 countries worldwide.
In this role, you will support our IT department in maintaining and troubleshooting our technology infrastructure. Your contribution will be vital in ensuring smooth operations and providing assistance to our staff in utilizing various IT systems effectively.

Responsibilities
- Assist with the installation, configuration, and maintenance of computer hardware and software.
- Provide technical support to staff for hardware and software issues, including phones, laptops, and network connectivity.
- Help manage and monitor IT inventory and ensure proper documentation of assets.
- Assist in setting up new user accounts and profiles, ensuring timely access to necessary systems and applications.
- Coordinate with external vendors and IT service providers for repairs and upgrades.
- Support the execution of IT projects and initiatives, ensuring they are delivered on time.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of new technologies and best practices within the industry.
- Perform regular backups and ensure data integrity and security measures are in place.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent; an associate's or bachelor's degree in IT or a related field is a plus.
- 1-2 years of experience in an IT support or assistant role.
- Strong understanding of computer systems, hardware, and software installation.
- Experience with operating systems (Windows, macOS) and common software applications.
- Good troubleshooting skills and the ability to solve technical issues promptly.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills both verbal and written.
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and processes.
- Legally able to work in Malta.
