The Opportunity
The IT Business Systems organization develops and maintains Flock’s internal SaaS platforms and IT infrastructure, enabling us to scale efficiently and securely in a high-growth environment. We are seeking an IT Project Manager to drive initiatives across multiple domains and operational departments at the company. The candidate will manage and coordinate cross-functional teams to deliver projects that enable Flock to innovate, scale, and achieve its vision for growth.
As Project Manager, you will lead projects that optimize people, process and technology. You will plan and scope cross-departmental requirements, prioritize work streams and dependencies with stakeholders, and usher projects through the end-to-end project lifecycle. Since projects will often span multiple departments, you’ll keep all players accountable and aligned on progress, value, and outcomes. The ideal candidate is an adaptable Project Manager with strong execution skills, able to plug into any IT initiative and partner with business stakeholders, bring structure to ambiguity, and ensure projects are delivered on time and with measurable impact.
The Skillset
4+ years of experience managing IT projects, ideally in a high-growth or startup environment
Experience managing diverse initiatives such as SaaS tool implementations, MDM rollouts, office buildouts, or RBAC/access governance across systems
Strong background in managing the full IT project lifecycle: requirements gathering, build/configuration, testing, training, deployment, and post-go-live support
Demonstrated ability to own project scope, workplans, stakeholder communications, and deliverables
Experience documenting business requirements, functional design specifications, and end-user training materials
Strong facilitation skills for current and future state process mapping, gap analysis, and business case development
Excellent stakeholder management skills with a proven ability to build collaborative relationships across functional teams
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills; able to convey complex information to both technical and non-technical audiences
Experience with risk/issue management, mitigation planning, and project post-mortem reviews to measure ROI against business cases
Knowledge of procurement processes and experience partnering with Procurement and Security on vendor RFPs, contracts, and SOW reviews
Highly organized, detail-oriented, and self-driven, with a strong sense of ownership and accountability
Familiarity with IT Security and SOX-driven projects, such as access reviews, audit readiness, or compliance-related tool implementations preferred
Exposure to SaaS and cloud-based systems commonly used across business domains (Salesforce, NetSuite, Google Workspace, JIRA, etc.) preferred
Experience supporting IT infrastructure initiatives, including device provisioning, endpoint management, or office/network setups preferred
Familiarity with Agile methodologies and hybrid PMO practices in high-growth startup environments preferred
Feeling uneasy that you haven’t ticked every box? That’s okay; we’ve felt that way too. Studies have shown women and minorities are less likely to apply unless they meet all qualifications. We encourage you to break the status quo and apply to roles that would make you excited to come to work every day.
