Our practice is seeking a highly qualified Java/AWS Developer (Onsite) with experience in developing and building impactful, scalable, enterprise applications.

Work Authorization

Location: Wilmington, DE

Responsibilities :

•Involve in various phases of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and work in a highly dynamic Agile environment

•Design and develop software using Java, Spring, Spring Boot, Microservices

•Hands on AWS experience in EKS, ECS, AWS Lambda, Terraform, AWS Aurora Postgres, AWS logging and monitoring using Datadog, AWS Security groups, AWS MSK(Kafka)

•Troubleshoot, debug and upgrade software

•Testing and fixing bugs or other coding issues

•Adds value to team delivery and works with team to complete tasks to high quality and actively learns new skills.

Qualifications:

•BS/BA degree or equivalent experience

•5 to 8+ years of software development experience

•Proficiency in Java, Spring, Spring Boot, Microservices, Invest API , Oracle, Kafka

•Experienced with AWS cloud technologies (EKS, Fargate, Lambda, S3,RDS, terraform). AWS Developer or certification preferred.

•Good to have React or Angular experience

•Good to have experience in any of the rules engine (Ex. Drools)

•Good to have experience in JPMC on-premises cloud (Gaia)

•Build and deployment tools like Jules and Jenkins

•Strong communication skills and experience in delivering projects in Scrum agile methodology.

•Strong Analytical skills and problem-solving

•Being a self-starter, quick learner, detail oriented.

Salary and Other Compensation:

Applications will be accepted until September 14 2025.

The annual salary for this position is between $68,422– $114,000 depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.

This position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant’s applicable plans.
