Java developer with AWS (Onsite)

Our practice is seeking a highly qualified Java/AWS Developer (Onsite) with experience in developing and building impactful, scalable, enterprise applications.

Work Authorization

Cognizant will only consider applicants for this position who are legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship (H-1B, L-1B, L-1A, etc.)

Location: Coral Springs , FL Onsite position, 5 days a week at the office.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop software applications using Java Spring Boot and Spring MVC to meet business requirements.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration and functionality of software solutions.
• Utilize AWS services to deploy and manage scalable applications in a cloud environment.
• Implement and maintain SQL databases to ensure data integrity and optimal performance.
• Write clean efficient and well-documented code to enhance system functionality and user experience.
• Conduct thorough testing and debugging to ensure software quality and reliability.
• Participate in code reviews to maintain code quality and share best practices with the team.
• Provide technical support and troubleshooting for software applications as needed.
• Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies to continuously improve skills and knowledge.
• Contribute to the development of technical documentation and user guides.
• Work closely with project managers to ensure timely delivery of software solutions.
• Optimize application performance and scalability to meet business needs.

Qualifications:

• Possess a strong proficiency in Java Spring Boot and Spring MVC for developing robust applications.
• Demonstrate expertise in AWS services for deploying and managing cloud-based applications.
• Have a solid understanding of SQL and mySQL for database management and optimization.
• Show proficiency in JavaScript for enhancing user interfaces and application functionality.
• Exhibit excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail in software development.
• Display strong communication skills for effective collaboration with team members.

Salary and Other Compensation:

Applications will be accepted until Augst 11, 2025.

The annual salary for this position is between $68,422 – $114,000 depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.

This position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant’s applicable plans.
