Lead Full Stack Developer “React.js and Java” (Onsite)

We are seeking a Lead Full Stack Developer (React.js and Java) 8 to 12 years of experience to join our team in a hybrid work model. The ideal candidate will have expertise in React Js and Java and will be responsible for developing and maintaining high-quality software solutions. This role requires a proactive individual who can collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams to drive innovation and deliver impactful results

You must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future.

Location: Plano,TX Onsite position, 5 days a week at the office.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain scalable software applications using React Js and Java to meet business requirements.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design develop and implement software solutions that enhance user experience.
• Ensure the performance quality and responsiveness of applications by conducting thorough testing and debugging.
• Participate in code reviews to maintain high code quality and share knowledge with team members.
• Identify and address technical challenges and propose innovative solutions to improve software functionality.
• Work closely with product managers and designers to understand user needs and translate them into technical specifications.
• Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies to continuously improve software development practices.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior developers to foster a collaborative and learning environment.
• Contribute to the development of technical documentation to support software development processes.
• Implement best practices for software development including version control testing and deployment strategies.
• Collaborate with DevOps teams to ensure seamless integration and deployment of software applications.
• Engage in continuous learning and professional development to enhance technical skills and knowledge.
• Support the companys mission by delivering high-quality software solutions that positively impact society.

Qualifications

• Possess strong proficiency in React Js and Java with a proven track record of successful software development projects.
• Demonstrate excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
• Exhibit strong communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
• Have a solid understanding of software development methodologies and best practices.
• Show a commitment to continuous learning and staying updated with emerging technologies.
• Display a proactive approach to identifying and addressing technical challenges.
• Experience with Agile development methodologies is a plus.

Salary and Other Compensation:

The annual salary for this position is between $81,3372K – $141,500K depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.

This position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant’s applicable plans.
