Responsibilities

• Lead the design and implementation of robust mainframe solutions using FileAids and IBM Mainframe Utilities to enhance system performance and reliability.
• Oversee the development and maintenance of applications utilizing SPUFI Endevor and CICS to ensure seamless operations and integration.
• Provide technical expertise in VSAM and JCL to optimize data management and processing efficiency.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and deploy Cobol-based applications that meet business requirements and industry standards.
• Ensure the effective use of DB2 for data storage and retrieval enhancing data accessibility and integrity.
• Conduct thorough testing and debugging of mainframe applications to identify and resolve issues promptly.
• Mentor junior developers in mainframe technologies fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
• Drive innovation by exploring new technologies and methodologies to improve existing systems and processes.
• Coordinate with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications for development.
• Monitor system performance and implement enhancements to improve efficiency and user experience.
• Ensure compliance with industry regulations and company policies in all technical implementations.
• Contribute to the strategic planning of IT projects aligning them with business goals and objectives.
• Support the Cards and Payments domain by providing domain-specific insights and solutions.

Qualifications

• Possess extensive experience in FileAids IBM Mainframe Utilities and CICS demonstrating a strong technical foundation.
• Have a deep understanding of SPUFI Endevor and VSAM with proven experience in application development and maintenance.
• Demonstrate proficiency in JCL and DB2 with a focus on optimizing data management and processing.
• Exhibit strong skills in Cobol programming with a track record of successful project delivery.
• Experience in the Cards and Payments domain is a plus providing valuable industry insights.
• Ability to work effectively in a hybrid work model balancing remote and on-site responsibilities.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
