We have an exciting opportunity for an exceptional individual to work supporting one of our clients as Quality Engineer

Responsibilities

· Lead the development and execution of comprehensive test strategies for automotive projects ensuring alignment with industry standards and best practices.

· Oversee the implementation of automated testing frameworks using tools such as Appium Cucumber and Selenium to enhance testing efficiency and coverage.

· Provide guidance on the integration of testing processes with CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins and GITHUB ensuring seamless deployment and delivery.

· Collaborate with development teams to identify and resolve defects early in the software development lifecycle improving overall product quality.

· Utilize cloud platforms like AWS GCP and Azure to optimize testing environments and support scalable testing solutions.

· Drive the adoption of Behavior-Driven Development (BDD) methodologies to ensure clear communication and understanding of requirements among stakeholders.

· Implement testing solutions using programming languages such as Python Java and JavaScript to support diverse project needs.

· Ensure the effective use of testing tools like Cypress Playwright and RestAssured to validate application functionality and performance.

· Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure testing activities align with project timelines and deliverables.

· Monitor and report on testing progress and outcomes providing insights and recommendations for continuous improvement.

· Foster a culture of quality and excellence within the team encouraging innovation and proactive problem-solving.

· Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies to continuously enhance testing practices and methodologies.

· Support the hybrid work model by effectively utilizing remote collaboration tools and techniques to maintain productivity and engagement.

Qualifications

· Possess a strong background in automated testing frameworks and tools with hands-on experience in Appium Cucumber and Selenium.

· Demonstrate proficiency in cloud platforms such as AWS GCP and Azure with the ability to configure and manage testing environments.

· Exhibit expertise in programming languages including Python Java and JavaScript with a focus on developing robust testing solutions.

· Have a solid understanding of CI/CD processes and tools like Jenkins and GITHUB with experience in integrating testing workflows.

· Show familiarity with BDD methodologies and tools ensuring effective communication and requirement validation.

· Bring domain expertise in the automotive industry with a deep understanding of industry-specific testing challenges and requirements.
