Cooperidge Consulting Firm is seeking a Service Manager to oversee day-to-day operations to one of our Industrial Services Clients, leading a team of 1–12 Service Technicians. The ideal candidate will drive service efficiency, ensure customer satisfaction, and maintain strong communication with internal teams, including sales, to meet operational and client needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure customer equipment orders are completed accurately and on time.
  • Oversee equipment installations, including gas connections and ductwork.
  • Follow all safety procedures and wear proper protective equipment.
  • Perform start-ups, repairs, and maintenance on HVAC systems.
  • Manage the pickup, cleaning, and storage of rental equipment.
  • Lead the service team, support a positive work environment, and provide performance feedback.
  • Help improve service processes to enhance the customer experience.
  • Maintain safety standards and keep inventory organized and up to date.
  • Train technicians on proper installation and maintenance techniques.
  • Gather and respond to customer feedback to support service goals.
  • Take on other duties as needed to support the team.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience in equipment service, HVAC, power generation, or related field
  • Universal EPA Certification or other relevant HVAC credentials (preferred)
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs and meet physical requirements of the job
  • Valid driver’s license and clean Motor Vehicle Report (MVR); DOT compliance required
  • Must pass a 10-panel drug screen, background check, and DOT physical
  • Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills
  • Willingness to travel or work flexible hours including weekends, holidays, and on-call shifts when required
  • Must be at least 21 years old (DOT requirement for interstate driving
