Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 6 years of experience in management consulting, sales operations, business strategy, investment banking, venture capital, private equity, or corporate advisory, or 4 years of experience with an advanced degree.

Preferred qualifications:

  • MBA degree.
  • Experience in consulting, investment banking, venture capital, private equity, or general management / strategy roles.
  • Experience building new operating models, scaling frameworks or leading high-stakes transformations.
  • Experience managing cross-functional initiatives from design through execution.
  • Ability to manage ambiguity, deconstruct problems, and drive executive stakeholder alignment.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills, with experience in data modeling, financial frameworks and operational analysis.

About the job

As a Strategic Projects Lead, you will drive transformational initiatives and build scalable platforms for ALCS. You will apply dynamic problem-solving, a bias for ownership and clarity with optimism to connect strategic insights across the business. Your role includes leading cross-functional teams, shaping executive decisions and mentoring talent to advance Google's advertising business.The Go-to-Market Operations (GtM) team ensures Google's complex and ever-evolving Ads business runs smoothly. We are instrumental in setting go-to-market strategy, and ensuring flawless execution and operations against the strategy. We have teams embedded in each of the major Ads business areas as well as global teams that work across the business areas. Team members are analytical and strategic, with a pragmatic sense of how to get things done.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $147,000-$216,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Responsibilities

  • Design and scale operating models, frameworks and processes that deliver durable growth and impact for ALCS.
  • Lead initiatives such as shaping organizational investments, prototyping AI-first models and driving leadership-sponsored efforts.
  • Craft insights and narratives that simplify complexity to enable informed executive decisions.
  • Collaborate seamlessly across GTM, LCS, Finance, Marketing and other functions to integrate perspectives and accelerate execution.
  • Mentor and guide associates by providing day-to-day leadership and supporting long-term career growth.
