Job Summary
Digitals AI and ML platforms, India is seeking a knowledgeable and experienced Corporate Attorney to join our legal team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in corporate law, experience with contracts, compliance, and corporate governance, and a passion for supporting the legal needs of an innovative tech company. The Corporate Attorney will play a key role in advising on a wide range of legal issues, including mergers and acquisitions, intellectual property rights, and regulatory matters.
Requirements
Key Responsibilities:
- Advise the company on corporate governance issues and best practices.
- Draft, review, and negotiate various contracts, including vendor agreements, licensing agreements, and employment contracts.
- Assist with mergers and acquisitions, including due diligence and transaction documentation.
- Ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations affecting the company.
- Manage intellectual property issues, including patents, trademarks, and copyrights.
- Provide legal guidance to internal departments, including sales, marketing, and HR.
- Conduct legal research and analysis on evolving laws affecting the company's operations.
- Represent the company in legal proceedings as necessary.
- Collaborate with external legal counsel on complex legal matters.
Key Requirements:
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
- 5+ years of experience as a corporate attorney, preferably in the tech or startup sectors.
- Strong knowledge of corporate law, contract law, and intellectual property law.
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and presentation skills.
- Ability to analyze complex legal issues and provide practical solutions.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Bar admission in the state of practice.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with international business and cross-border transactions is a plus.
- Knowledge of compliance and regulatory issues specific to the technology industry.
