As a Leisure Sales Manager, you will play a pivotal role in driving the hotel’s sales initiatives, developing client relationships, and maximizing revenue opportunities from individual travelers and leisure groups. Your focus will be on identifying new business prospects, managing accounts, and collaborating with various teams to ensure the goals of Conrad Athens The Ilisian are met. You will embody the hotel’s commitment to luxury and guest satisfaction while executing sales strategies and tactics designed to increase market share and profitability. As a Leisure Sales Manager you will be reporting to the Director of Sales.

 

Responsibilities

  • Drive leisure sales from allocated markets and segments through strategic account management and relationship-building with luxury agencies and DMCs, as agreed with  the Director of Sales.
  • Manage relationships with luxury consortia, luxury programs and high-end travel advisors, while coordinating with operations teams to ensure a seamless and exceptional luxury experience for clients throughout their stay.
  • Proactively prospect, cultivate, and develop strategic relationships within assigned market segments. Create comprehensive account management development plans, identify new contacts, and establish a trusted partner network.
  • Build, maintain, and strengthen relationships with Hilton Worldwide Sales Teams,  maximize exposure of the hotel to all leisure channels and leisure groups conversion while ensuring alignment with Conrad brand standards.
  • Represent the hotel at industry events, trade shows, and networking functions to increase brand visibility, build new business relationships and generate new sales leads.
  • Organize and host familiarization (FAM) trips, site inspections and client events to showcase the hotel’s offerings.
  • Collaborate with the Guest Relations, Reservations, Groups & Events and Operations teams, to ensure a seamless client experience across the full sales cycle for leisure groups and individual travellers.
  • Collaborate with the Marketing Team to develop compelling promotional materials that highlight the hotel’s leisure capabilities.
  • Conduct comprehensive market research to remain current on luxury leisure industry trends and client demands.
  • Monitor and evaluate sales performance of the dedicated markets through regular reporting and analysis to the Director of Sales.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a sales role within luxury hospitality.
  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Hospitality, or a related field.
  • Proficient in sales management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team, in a fast-paced environment.
  • Demonstrated organizational and time management skills.
  • Strong analytical mindset with a focus on achieving measurable results.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills in Greek and English; additional languages are a plus.
