About the Role:
As a Licensed Vocational Nurse, you'll be at the heart of patient care, following established care plans, administering vital treatments, and collaborating closely with our clinical staff and healthcare team. What You'll Bring (Minimum Qualifications):

Physical Demands and Work Environment:
This role involves working within a clean, well-lit, and well-ventilated medical facility. Regular activities include talking, hearing, and using hands/fingers. Occasional requirements include standing, walking, sitting, reaching, climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, or crawling. The ability to lift and/or move up to 25 pounds occasionally is also required. Specific vision abilities include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, and the ability to adjust focus. While the work environment is typically moderately noisy, there may be exposure to hazards such as radiation, bodily fluids containing disease, and fumes from laboratory chemicals.

Requirements
Key Responsibilities (Essential Duties):
- Deliver direct patient care in strict accordance with the CA’s Nurse Practice Act.
- Conduct thorough assessments and provide treatments following established protocols.
- Administer medications precisely, adhering to the "7 rights of medication administration."
- Possess extensive knowledge of orthostatic vital signs, comprehensive nursing assessments, accurate height/weight measurements, and patient schedule adherence.
- Maintain meticulous and timely documentation of all care provided.
- Actively participate in administrative duties, including completing medical forms, reports, evaluations, and charting.
- Communicate vital patient status and care information to physicians and the Director of Nursing (DON).
- Monitor and promptly report any adverse reactions to medication or treatment to the DON and physicians.
- Skillfully manage urgent and emergent situations in line with company policies and procedures.
- Provide compassionate assistance during patient admissions and discharges.
- Educate residents and family members on prevention techniques and strategies to enhance their general health and psychosocial well-being.
- Uphold the strictest confidentiality of all patient care information, including protected health information.
- Assist patients with daily hygiene routines and schedules.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the DON, contributing to the overall success of our patient care initiatives.
