Key Responsibilities

As a mechanic for this top-tier brand, you will be responsible for:

  • Diagnosing and repairing both mechanical and electrical issues on a fleet of high-tech vehicles.

  • Performing scheduled maintenance, preventative servicing, and safety checks to manufacturer standards.

  • Utilising advanced diagnostic tools and software to troubleshoot complex faults, particularly with high-voltage systems and EV components.

  • Conducting test drives to ensure all repairs are complete and vehicles are in optimal condition.

  • Providing excellent customer service by clearly explaining technical issues and repair processes to customers.


Key Skills & Qualifications

The successful candidate will have:

  • A minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience as a qualified mechanic in a similar role. This experience should include a demonstrated ability to perform a broad range of tasks on various light vehicles.

  • A Certificate III in Light Vehicle Mechanical Technology or an equivalent, nationally recognized trade qualification.

  • Exceptional diagnostic and problem-solving skills, with proven experience using modern diagnostic tools and software to troubleshoot complex mechanical and electrical issues.

  • A strong understanding of high-voltage systems and a keen interest in learning and adapting to electric vehicle (EV) technology.

  • A deep commitment to safety and high-quality workmanship, ensuring all work complies with Australian WHS (Work Health and Safety) standards.

  • A valid and current Australian driver's licence.

  • Excellent communication skills to clearly explain technical issues to both colleagues and customers.
