Role:
Supports logistics processes, activities, and customers for all modes of transportation.
What the candidate will do:
- Assisting in the development of process flows to track lead time by activity and identifying opportunities to reduce lead times.
- Identifying opportunities for improvements including cost, quality, and service of customer needs and issues.
- Implementing and maintaining monitoring systems to provide information on shipment status, shipped date, in transit location, estimated arrival date, and actual delivery date.
- Generating and analyzing reports of transportation costs and carrier performance.
- Planning and tracking lead times including compliance with related regulations.
Education requirement:
- Bachelor’s degree in international business, International Trade, Administration, Industrial Engineer Administrator, Mechanical Engineer Administrator or Related Careers, or about to graduate in fields related to Supply Chain preferred.
- Intermediate English Conversational
What skills the ideal candidate will have:
Problem Solving :
- Knowledge in solving organizational, operational, or process-related problems
- Familiarity with analytical tools such as 5 Whys, Ishikawa, Pareto, etc.
- Ability to document problems, analyze risks, and propose alternative solutions
- Intermediate Excel proficiency
Supplier Management - MFG:
- Knowledge of supplier management (minimum 1 year), preferably in a manufacturing environment
- Familiarity with common terms in supplier contracts and agreements
Supply Chain Management - MFG:
- Basic to intermediate knowledge of supply chain processes (minimum 1 year).
- Basic knowledge of ERP systems or supply chain management software (e.g., SAP, Oracle).
Top candidates:
- Advanced English proficiency
- Intermediate SAP knowledge
- Knowledge of MRP (Material Requirements Planning)
- Green Belt certification
