Maintenance/Handyperson
RandstadWe are currently seeking a motivated and proactive Handy person to join a high-performing facilities team across a large, premium commercial precinct in Canberra. This is a permanent, full-time position with plenty of variety and scope for someone who enjoys hands-on work and great customer interaction.
What you'll be doing:
Providing responsive and professional customer service to tenants and visitors
Performing general maintenance and caretaking duties across commercial buildings and grounds
Minor repairs including carpentry, basic plumbing, painting, patchwork and cleaning
Supervising external contractors and assisting with scheduled works
Maintaining site presentation and cleanliness
What we’re looking for:
Trade qualification in carpentry (highly desirable) or strong handy person/maintenance experience
White Card (mandatory)
Asbestos Awareness Certificate (preferred but not essential)
Strong communication and customer service skills
Well-presented, professional, and able to work autonomously
Current driver’s licence
Computer literacy – able to use email, Word/Excel, etc.
