  • Develop and execute the local business strategy in alignment with regional and global goals.
  • Drive market share growth in dry-wall products & systems through innovation, pricing, and customer-centric strategies.
  • Lead business development initiatives, including partnerships, distribution networks, and new product introductions.
  • Ensure efficient and safe operation of the gypsum production plant, meeting quality, cost, and sustainability targets.
  • Oversee supply chain, procurement, and logistics to ensure timely delivery and cost optimization.
  • Champion continuous improvement and digital transformation in manufacturing.
  • Own the P&L for the Greek entity, ensuring profitability and cost control.
  • Ensure compliance with local laws, environmental regulations, and corporate governance standards.
  • Prepare and present business performance reports to regional and global
  • leadership.
  • Lead, develop, and inspire a cross-functional team across commercial, technical, and support functions.
  • Foster a culture of safety, accountability, and high performance.
  • Promote diversity, equity, and inclusion in the workplace.
  • Represent the company in industry associations, regulatory bodies, and public forums.
  • Maintain strong relationships with key customers, suppliers, and government stakeholders.

Requirements

  • University degree in Engineering, Business, or related field (MBA preferred)
  • 10+ years of senior leadership experience in industrial or construction materials sectors
  • Proven track record in managing both commercial and manufacturing operations
  • Experience in a multinational or matrix organization is highly desirable
  • Fluent in Greek and English – French is an asset

Technical Skills

  • Deep understanding of the building materials or gypsum industry
  • Familiarity with gypsum production technologies.
  • Knowledge of ISO standards and implementation of quality controland assurance systems in manufacturing.
  • Strong comprehension of occupational safety standards, environmental compliance, and sustainability practices in industrial settings.
