Role Definition:
Manufacturing Enginner for welding specializes in developing and maintaining the software that controls robotic welding systems. Here are the key responsibilities and skills for this role.
Responsibilities:
1. Manufacturing Enginner for Welding Robots: Writing and optimizing code for robotic welding operations.
2. System Integration: Ensuring the welding robot’s software integrates seamlessly with hardware components like sensors and welding tools.
3. Path Planning: Developing algorithms for precise welding paths and movements.
4. Quality Control: Implementing software to monitor and ensure weld quality.
5. Testing and Troubleshooting: Conducting tests and diagnosing issues to ensure reliable operation.
6. Maintenance and Updates: Regularly updating software to improve efficiency and add new capabilities.
7. Collaboration: Working with mechanical engineers, welding specialists, and other team members to refine robotic welding systems
Education requirement:
Requires a bachelor’s degree in industrial engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Materials Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering or related field.
Intermediate English required

Knowledge of the electrical, mechanical and logistics equipment used in manufacturing; ability to safely operate, maintain, update and store them.
Manufacturing Processes:
Knowledge of existing product manufacturing methods, technologies and processes; ability to execute, plan, manage and monitor the entire manufacturing process.
Manufacturing Safety:
Knowledge of manufacturing safety; ability to identify work-related hazards and perform necessary activities to meet regulatory requirements for the safety and protection of workers, environment and site.
Manufacturing Standards, Procedures and Policies:
Knowledge of organizational standards, procedures and policies in manufacturing activities; ability to plan, guide, and monitor manufacturing processes for compliance.
Problem Management Process - MFG:
Knowledge of manufacturing problem management processes, methodologies and techniques; ability to use a disciplined approach to bringing that problem to a successful resolution.
Additional Information:
The location for this position Santa Catarina, Nuevo Leon
This position will require domestic travel up to 5%
Work schedule: Monday to Friday (6:24am a 4pm) and Saturday (7am-2pm)
Shift rotation availability is required. 1 week out of each month, the candidate will be required to work the night shift (10pm-6:24am).
Relocation is not available for this position.
