Caterpillar Mining is seeking a collaborative and strategic Marketing Consultant to lead dealer engagement and regional marketing representation across key mining markets. This role will serve as a bridge between Caterpillar Mining’s global marketing strategy, regional priorities and our dealer network, ensuring alignment, activation and impact at the local level. The successful candidate will also support regionally focused content creation and copywriting for Cat Mining’s digital channels and campaigns, helping shape our voice and connect with customers across platforms. This position is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, relationship-driven environment and has a passion for storytelling, stakeholder engagement and mining industry dynamics.
What you will do:
Lead Dealer Marketing Alignment: Serve as the primary marketing liaison for Caterpillar Mining dealer engagement, supporting alignment of messaging and prioritization. Plan and manage regular cadence of dealer marketing forums to foster collaboration, share best practices and align on strategic priorities across markets.
Amplify Regional Reach: Provide input on regional marketing strategies and help identify opportunities for localized engagement.
Drive Dealer-Ready Assets: Lead the overall management of content for CatDealer.com platform, ensuring alignment with Cat Mining’s messaging priorities and regional marketing needs. Collaborate with product marketing consultants to develop and deliver marketing toolkits, messaging guides and campaign assets tailored for dealer use.
Elevate Local Market Storytelling: Ensure regional priorities and unique perspectives are reflected by highlighting dealer and regional team achievements and milestones.
Create Engaging Digital Content: Support overall content creation and copywriting for Cat Mining’s digital channels, including blogs, social media, newsletters and web pages.
Collaborate Across Teams: Work closely with marketing consultants, digital strategists, designers, agencies and other stakeholders to produce cohesive and compelling communications.
Ensure Brand Consistency: Maintain a consistent tone and style across all content, adhering to brand guidelines and voice.
Analyze Performance: Monitor content metrics to refine strategies and improve engagement.
Stay Current: Keep up with industry trends, best practices, and emerging formats to continuously elevate our content.
What skills you will have:
Promotion and Marketing: Experience in marketing with a focus on dealer or channel engagement. Strong grasp of mining industry dynamics, equipment, and technology. Skilled in digital marketing tools and content platforms. Excellent project management and organizational capabilities.
Effective Communications: Exceptional writing and editing skills. Adept at crafting clear, compelling messages across channels. Detail-oriented self-starter with a proactive communication style.
Customer Focus: Deep understanding of customer-centric strategies and the ability to translate customer needs into tailored marketing solutions.
Collaborating: Effective at working cross-functionally with diverse teams to drive alignment and shared outcomes.
Creativity: Able to generate and apply original ideas to marketing challenges using proven creative tools and techniques.
Relationship Management: Skilled in building and maintaining strong relationships with internal teams, clients, and external partners to support marketing initiatives.
Strategic Thinking: Able to connect marketing efforts to broader business goals, applying strategic insight to prioritize impactful initiatives.
Vendor/Supplier Management: Experienced in managing vendor relationships to ensure quality, efficiency, and alignment with marketing objectives.
Language Requirement: Conversational fluency in Spanish or Portuguese is required.
Additional information:
Location Options: This role is based in either Tucson, AZ or Peoria, IL.
Relocation: Domestic relocation assistance is not available.
Work Style: This is a fully on-site position, Monday through Friday — remote work is not available.
Travel: Occasional travel may be required, up to 10%

Summary Pay Range:
$110,520.00 - $165,840.00Compensation and benefits offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, job level, market location, job-related knowledge, skills, individual performance and experience. Please note that salary is only one component of total compensation at Caterpillar.
